My lessons are always adapted to the students' needs and circumstances. As the student and I get to know each other, the topics of the lessons become more relevant and personalised over time, making communication in Spanish meaningful and easier to remember. They include games, conversation, reading, watching videos, writing, listening, and, above all, thinking time. Students find in me a patient and encouraging listener who respects their mental processes when trying to remember a new word or put together a new sentence.
And the learning does not finish when the lesson is over. I provide students with guidance and resources to continue learning on their own time. Luckily we have a wealth of books, films, Youtube channels, websites, apps, podcasts... available for learning languages nowadays. If used wisely, students can make significant progress in a short time and use most of the time in the lessons with me practicing conversation, getting feedback, and further guidance.
